Specialist Skills: Experienced in the preparation and defence of claims including computer aided delay analysis, the preparation and presentation of Referrals and Responses in adjudication proceedings and also lectures widely to the industry including in particular the use of the NEC Contracts in practice.
Employment History: During the period 1970 to 1974 was employed in Local Authority gaining experience in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and the financial administration of major public works contracts including the preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, budget forecasts and cost management. During the period 1974 to 1998 was employed with building and civil engineering contractors in the UK and abroad gaining considerable experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor and later Commercial Manager responsible for all financial and commercial matters relating to many and varied building and civil engineering projects, in particular major national and international gas, oil, water and sewerage projects for both private and utility companies. Joined Kerrigans as a consultant in 1998.
