Nikki advises employers, contractors and subcontractors as to the enforceability of performance bonds and the merits and liabilities of their terms and conditions including the drafting of such contractual provisions. Nikki has a keen interest in performance bonds, having been involved in multiple disputes concerning the validity of performance bonds and subsequently completing her dissertation on whether performance bonds are performing in the construction industry (in which she obtained the highest grade ever to be achieved on the Masters Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution).

In addition to this, Nikki researches and prepares for public seminars and academic papers for publication on the internet and conducts legal research in recent case law and corporate due diligence including investigating accounts, corporate governance and securities.
